2011 Recital Check List
Arrival time
1. The Friday Show starts at 7:00 pm Sharp! Auditorium doors open at 6:15 pm.
2. The Saturday Show starts at 5:00 pm Sharp! Auditorium doors open at 4:15pm.
3. Students should arrive a half hour before the posted start time. Students should arrive dressed and ready to perform their first dance routine.
4. All costumes, shoes and accessories should have student’s names on them. If the student is in more than one number, the student should have a list of the order that they are performing so it will be easier for the class moms. The line-up is posted at the studio and on our website, www.elitegymnast.com
5. All students must be signed in at the dressing room by a female adult. No men allowed.
Only one adult needs to accompany the child back stage.
6. Snacks may be brought into dressing area. Water only and snacks that will not stain costumes. (ex. Pretzels) Check with your class mom for a snack list.
7. No electronic devices please. Dancers may bring cards, books, games etc.(NO MARKERS). Elite is not responsible for anything left backstage.
During the Show
1. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
2. There will be class moms in the dressing rooms and attendants at the door and in the hallways. All the children are supervised and well taken care of. The “baby” room will have a cell phone number available for you to txt or call with any concerns. If you are concerned, you may volunteer to be a class mom. Please note as a class mom you must assist all children in the room, not only your own, and remain for the entire recital, until all children in your care are picked up. Yes, you will be able to watch your child perform from the back of the theater (volunteers do not need to purchase a ticket)
3. There is no picture or videotaping during the Dance Recital. You may only do this during dress rehearsal on Thursday, June 16th. The show will be professionally Video Taped, the cost is $50.00. See front Desk for forms.
Departure Time
1. We encourage ALL students to remain for the entire recital and participate in the finale.
2. When the show is finished, all children return to the dressing room. Once all the children are in their dressing rooms the mother’s, or female adults, will be allowed back stage to sign out the dancers. You must sign your child out with their class mom prior to leaving. PLEASE ONLY SEND ONE ADULT BACKSTAGE!
3. Please make sure you have all your belongings when departing. Elite and the High School are not responsible for any items left behind
