Dance Team Attire

Dance Attire is mandatory when you are on Dance Team. Being on Team means you are representing the best of Elite Dance Studio. We take pride in our dancers and we want you to take pride in your appearance. The following is a list of attire descriptions for each class you will be taking. Please review this list carefully. Attire rules will be strictly enforced.

Class	Attire
All Classes	Hair: Must be pulled back neatly in a bun or ponytail. Tights: Wear footless or convertible.
Ballet	Ballet Shoes required.This is a traditional ballet class. Students are required to wear a body suit, tights and ballet shoes. Foot Undeez will no longer be permitted in this class. Hair must be pulled back off the face in either a bun or ponytail. Form fitting dance shorts are permitted.
Lyrical	Foot Undeez required. Students are required to wear a body suit, tights and form fitting dance shorts.
Jump and Turns	For this class, dancers will need a body suit, footless tights and Foot Undeez. Hair must be pulled back in either a bun or pony tail. Form fitting shorts are allowed.
Jazz	Jazz shoes are required.Dancers will need a body suit, tights, and dance shorts are permitted. Yoga pants permitted.
Musical Theater	Jazz shoes required.Musical Theater attire is the same as a Jazz class. Please NO street clothes in this class.
Tap	Tap shoes required. Body suits and form fitting shorts are required for this class.
Hip Hop	Hip Hop is an exception to the rule. Due to the style of the dance, baggy attire is permitted in this class. Jazz sneakers or flat bottom sneakers are permitted for this class. Please, no “track” sneakers that will grip to the floor. If you are unsure about your sneakers, ask your teacher.
